DISASTER ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION DEBRIS REMOVAL SERVICES

Planters Electric Membership Corporation (PEMC) is seeking proposals from one or more qualified firms to collect, remove, and lawfully dispose of disaster generated electrical-related debris from PEMC’s right-of-way and other public and private property throughout PEMC’s service territory as a result of Hurricane Helene. 

Interested parties may request the solicitation and bid documents from Blake Gay at blake.gay@plantersemc.com or click on the Helene RFP tab at the top of the home page.  Proposals submitted electronically will be accepted up to the date and time below.  Proposals received after that time will not be accepted.  PEMC currently expects to award a contract, or contracts, pursuant to this solicitation by late November or early December 2024.

PEMC intends to utilize Federal Emergency Management Agency (“FEMA”) financial assistance to fund all or a part the costs incurred under the resulting contract(s).  Accordingly, interested parties must agree to comply with all applicable federal laws, regulations, executive orders, FEMA requirements, and all other terms and conditions incorporated into the bid documentation and the resulting contract(s).
